Film Peer Reviews What specific elements of the film opening did you like? Was there anything that left you confused? (be specific) What suggestions do you have for changes? I like the the accent, and the costume because it fits with the time era. It also tells about the characters personalities. no none I enjoyed the low lighting that reminded me of a old 1980s investigation documentary. The props and accents added to the time period were also very intriguing. Thus, there where no spots in the film where it seemed like it was "filler." The added background nondiegetic sound was a nice touch and also the edited text at the beginning really brought the whole film opener together. The ending seemed a bit off to me. After we decided to start filming at Max's house we recorded most of the important takes for the majority of the opening and I'm not sure if we need to record again this week. I ultimately ended up not sticking with what I first outlined in my storyboard, so me and my friends ended up drafting an entirely new opening after about 40 minutes of brainstorming. This is a screencap of one of scenes with my character after interrogating the main antagonist of the film. After recording we also decided to keep small stuff that might make the film look amateur to give it a more comedic feel. Stuff like deciding to keep my tie crooked in this scene to make my character seem as unprofessional as possible was on of those things.
